Children
First Lutheran Church takes special pride in the love and care of the children in our church, to nurture them and raise them in the love of Christ. There is Sunday school for the children starting with the pre-school/kindergarten ages.
Youth/Teenagers
Confirmation – Completing Confirmation is an important rite of passage for young people seeking to understand and comprehend Scripture and the basic doctrines of the Lutheran Church. Seventh and Eight grade students attend this course of study for two years, once every week between September and May each year.
Adults
- Sunday Bible Study between Services every Sunday.
- Life Light – Deaconess led adult Bible Studies that meets every Tuesday between September and May.
- There are two classes, one morning and one evening.
- Men’s Bible Fellowship Breakfast – Early morning (7:30 am) Bible study held at Paradise Falls.
- Women in the Word – Lay led adult Bible Study that meets every Friday morning between September and May.
- First Lutheran Classical School is a private school that emphasizes the fundamentals of education with an emphasis on Christian values. Scholarships are available. Please contact the church office for more information.
